Our Services

At Uplift Feeding and Speech, we offer comprehensive therapy services tailored to support both pediatric and adult clients in achieving their full potential in communication and feeding skills. Services are provided in person and virtually.

We are accepting private pay clients and we are currently an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield of AL. We are also in the process of becoming credentialed with Tricare Humana East, coming soon! If you use a different insurance provider, please ask about our superbilling option.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy targets articulation, voice, and fluency skills. This could include working with children and adults who stutter, produce sounds incorrectly, or impaired speech due to oral motor weakness. The goal is to increase speech intelligibility.

Language Therapy

Language therapy targets the understanding and use of everyday language. This can include improving grammar, expanding vocabulary, reading comprehension, understanding & following directions, social skills, expressing emotions, wants, needs, and so much more. The goal is to increase functional communication across all settings.

Feeding Therapy

I also specialize in pediatric feeding disorders. I am trained in using the SOS Approach to Feeding and AEIOU: An Integrated Approach to Pediatric Feeding. This includes treating extremely picky eaters using a play-based approach to feeding, treating children who have difficulties transitioning from liquids to purees or from purees to solids, I also treat children who are having difficulty chewing or swallowing (also known as dysphagia.) The goal is to increase independent feeding skills and improve feeding experiences for children and their families.

Individualized Treatment Sessions

At Uplift we also offer individualized 30-minute treatment sessions (in person and virtually) for pediatrics and adults. Each session will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. My goal for each of my clients is to support and UPLIFT them to reach their full potential with their communication and feeding skills.
